Bi Women of All Colors: Coming Out Over and Over October 10, 2010

Come join our monthly themed discussion at the NYC LGBT Community Center from 5-6:30 pm. Drinks/Dinner follows 6:45 ish at a nearby restaurant. All bisexual, bi-curious & bi-friendly women welcome!

Since October 11th is National Coming Out Day, our topic will be "Coming Out"

Coming out isnt something you just have to do once in your life, every time we meet someone new, join a group, get a new doctor, get a new job, go on a new date--we have to decide: to come out, or not to come out? What are the pros and cons either way? How long should I wait? What it the best moment to bring it up? How will they react?

In addition to straight people, we also have to come out to gay/lesbian people about being bisexual. And their reactions can sometimes be worse than the straight people!

Whether you are newly coming out, or just doing it over and over, bring your thoughts and experiences to share, get support, encouragement, commiseration and meet new friends.

Bi Women of All Colors holds monthly themed discussion as well as brunches and dinners in New York City. We are a social and discussion group for all bisexual, pansexual, bi-curious, fluid, hetero/homo-flexible, queer-identified or questioning (including transgender) women as well as welcoming bi-friendly women who identify as lesbian, SGL (same-gender-loving) or straight.
