This will be a premier poetry event. Complete with amazing historic venue, dance choreographed to match poetry and a world class musical group. Our poets include international finalist Kim Johnson, grand slam champions Laura Yes Yes, Jaylee Alde, Jason Bayani and Mesej1. We are bringing a vibrant community to the Downtown Oakland Venue of Historic Sweets Ballroom.
