As a nationally renowned orator, Reverend Bernice A. King has inspired thousands from all walks of life. The youngest child of civil rights pioneers Mrs. Coretta Scott King and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., she dreamed of becoming both a lawyer and a politician, but God had yet another road for her to travel: Rev. King was ordained in May of 1990. She holds a Master of Divinity degree, and doctoral degrees in Law and Divinity.
Although Rev. King has received awards and recognition from various civic, religious, corporate, and political organizations, she has not failed to realize that "to whom much is given, much is expected." As such, she devotes time mentoring pre-teen and teenage girls and other at-risk youth. Rev. King is recognized as one of the leaders of the black community for years to come.
