Berlin Buzzwords - Tour Unterwelten June 6, 2010

The tour is being organised by Andi Guldner. He will wait for your on Sunday morning at the meeting point. The tour is open for registered attendees of BerlinBuzzwords (http://berlinbuzzwords.de) only.

Meeting point: Sunday, 10:30 a.m. at U-Bhf Gesundbrunnencenter. The tour starts at 11a.m.. Tickets have to be purchased first to take part in the Berlin underground tour.

We start with a tour through the Berlin "Unterwelten" led by an official tour guide. Language of the Tour is German. http://berliner-unterwelten.de/tour-2.14.0.html.

Tour takes about 90 min. It is cold in the "bunker, so please bring warm
clothes and hiking shoes.

After that Andi will take you to the "Gedenkstätte Berliner Mauer": http://www.berliner-mauer-gedenkstaette.de/de/ - get to see remaining pieces of the original Berlin wall. The look-out gives you the chance to get to see what happens "drüben" (behind the wall), you see the border with old fortifications.

The tour continues at the "Mauerpark", on Sundays a large and popular
flea takes place there. After the time on the flea, we go to the karaoke contest or to Oderberger Straße with lots of restaurants and cafes - or both.
