Benefit Concert for Joannie Chen December 13, 2004

Joannie Chen, a longtime farmers' market worker at Blue Moon Fish, has recently been diagnosed with leukemia. Blue Moon Fish owners, co-workers, customers and industry colleagues such as greenmarket vendors and chefs have rallied around Joannie to help and created The Joannie Chen Fund. Several of the girls that work at the Blue Moon Fish stand at the Greenmarket will perform with their bands. There will be a silent auction of items donated by various customers and restaurants. Tocqueville Restaurant and The Minnow will provide hors d'oeuvres.
