Have you always wanted to create the luminous look of watercolor, but hesitated because you thought it might be too difficult? Wendy Soneson has been teaching thousands of students for the last 20 years, from the basics, to competency, to expertise. You can do it too. Dive into the luscious world of color, fine cotton papers, and beautiful brushes. Learn to create the amazing effects that only watercolor is capable of. Anyone can learn to draw, and I can teach you if you want to learn. We will mostly be painting late summer / fall flowers and autumn harvest produce from life.
Wendy Soneson is a watercolorist in the Boston area, and has shown her work locally over the last 20 years. She recently produced two shows: Portraits of Amazing Women, and a show of 26 flower paintings, one for each letter of the alphabet. She is a graduate of Lesley with a Master of Education in the Arts in Human Development. She a certified School of Color instructor, of the Michael Wilcox School in England and teaches in various arts centers around Boston. She is a member of Studios Without Walls, a Brookline artist collective.
