This exhibit demonstrates the steps involved in creating a bonsai, and shows the process that transforms a common crape myrtle into a charming bonsai through pruning, wiring, and repotting. Artifacts from the museum's collection will also be displayed, including tools used by renowned bonsai masters Toshio Kawamoto, John Naka, and Yuji Yoshimura.
