Hey guys!

It's Matt from Bearracuda and I'm having yet another birthday at Bearracuda
on Friday, November 5th. This time I'm throwing the bear party I always want
to have, but can never afford! But, fuck it, it's my 35th and I'm goin' big
or goin' home (hopefully going home with some sweet blond cub with a big
butt). Even though it's my b-day, the main goal this evening is for EVERYONE
to have fun.

There's lots to tell you, so here it goes:

Doors open at 9pm with my birthday DJ headliner last year, DEE JAY PEE PLAY. Pee Play is the co-creator of DJ collective: Honey SoundSystem http://www.honeysoundsystem.com/ He'll also be playing the lounge later in the evening.

At 10:30pm our stage show begins with special guest hosts PEACHES CHRIST & CHRISTEENE.

PEACHES CHRIST is a San Francisco icon. She is currently touring the country (and the globe) with her instant cult classic: All About Evil: www.allaboutevilthemovie.com. She'll be doing a first ever live duet with her co-host: Christeene. http://www.peacheschrist.com/

CHRISTEENE is....a mess. And I love her for that! If you haven't seen Christeene in action, you are truly missing out. Check out her vids at http://www.christeene.org/ She will be flying in from Austin, Texas especially for this evening.

She''ll be introducing our live band this evening: SMASH-UP DERBY! http://www.smashupderby.com/ Smash-Up Derby are just so much fun. They are the house band for Bootie and were voted "Best Cover Band" in 2007 & 2009 by the Bay Guardian. Here's a video of Lady Gaga opening up for them (no, really)

After the band tears down, we'll be doing a short, but very sweet show with Suppositori Spelling, Holy McGrail, Renttecca & more!

Once the show ends, the music begins with my perennial b-day DJ: BOYSHAPEDOX and our headlining DJ for NYE this year, STEVE SHERWOOD, http://www.djstevesherwood.com/ on the main floor.

Pee Play and DABECY open the upstairs lounge. dabecy is the creator of Electronic Music Bears http://www.electronicmusicbears.com/ and one of my favorite DJs in San Francisco.
