In this day long workshop you'll learn the fundamentals of making beads and hollow forms. Patrik will demonstrate how to make beads without a core- tube beads, solid beads, lentil beads and sandwich beads. You will learn two ways of making custom forms using cork clay and PMC slip or rolled PMC.

In addition you'll learn how to make hollow forms using a wire armature. We'll make the armature, cover it with PMC, then assemble the different parts of the bead by beveling the pieces and fitting them together. This method was introduced at the PMC Conference in 2006 and recently highlighted in Barbara Becker Simon's book "Metal Clay Beads".

You will leave with several completed beads, designed and constructed by YOU! You will receive handouts and resources, and the skills necessary to make fine silver jewelry from start to finish in your own home!
