Stables Market, Camden
London, England

Since Proud Galleries re-launched in 2008, Be has been their flagship club-night attracting up to fifteen hundred revellers every Saturday. Now in its second year the club has redefined London's club scene with its unique mix of indie, disco electro and rock n' roll, spectacular live acts, performance art and burlesque.

Playing live this week are Exeter’s finest new post-punk pop combo Ono Palindromes, and the fantastic and quite possibly insane Captain Strange, keeping a steady hand of the tiller and ensuring a packed crowd through till 2 with a mix of electro, disco and indie will be the Be Team residents David H and John Power.

In the South Gallery The Non-Stop Electric Cabaret will continue to amuse and amaze in equal measure. Curated by London's celebrated sassy Burlesque artist Miss Vicky Butterfly and accompanied by a vintage rock n roll jukebox from Stables Market stall holder, Bioux, expect a parade of the most weird and the wonderful burlesque acts London has to offer.

About Ono Palindromes
Memorably described as like ‘Sonic Youth eating Arcade Fire to a Talking Heads soundtrack’ by Artrocker, Ono Palindromes make the kind of post punk death disco that will have anyone acquainted with PiL’s first album in raptures. Edgy and arty but still packing enough punch to wake the dead Ono Palindrome are set to put Exeter on the rock map this year.

"Sounding like the love-child of Arcade Fire, The Pixies and Art Brut, Ono Palindromes deliver a slice of fun, literature filled pop with a twist. It won't be long until you hear a lot from the media about this band." - The Mag

About Captain Strange
Pioneering the original sounds of ‘ghoulish funk’ CAPTAIN STRANGE have built up a large, eclectic yet intimate following of art-kids, budding musicians and party people that have become as much a part of the CAPTAIN STRANGE experience as the band themselves.

With a busy festival season lined up and their debut album recorded and slated for release before the end of the Summer CAPTAIN STRANGE are primed to add you to the legion of fans they’ve already won over whilst playing gigs with the likes of Cage The Elephant, Magic Numbers, Pete Doherty, Man Like Me and Task Force amongst others.
