Stables Market, Camden
London, England

Since Proud Galleries re-launched in 2008, Be has been their flagship club-night attracting up to fifteen hundred revellers every Saturday. Now in its second year the club has redefined London's club scene with its unique mix of indie, disco electro and rock n' roll, spectacular live acts, performance art and burlesque.

Jetting in from the States this week are the Pharrell approved, Harvard educated Chester French, joining them onstage, though making the slightly less onerous journey from East London, are the equally hotly tipped Wolf Gang. Keeping the dancefloor going through to the close with a pulsating disco hotmix are the DJs from East London’s The Last Days of Disco.

In the South Gallery The Non-Stop Electric Cabaret will continue to amuse and amaze in equal measure. Curated by London's celebrated sassy Burlesque artist Miss Vicky Butterfly and accompanied by a vintage rock n roll jukebox from Stables Market stall holder, Bioux, expect a parade of the most weird and the wonderful burlesque acts London has to offer.

About: Chester French
Formed whilst at Harvard, Chester French, the duo of Max Drummey and D.A. Wallach may only have released their debut album, 'Love The Future' this year but they've already achieved a careers worth of column inches. Despite their rock leanings the band have been adopted by the hip-hop community and been championed by the likes of Kanye West and super producer Pharrell Williams, who signed them to his Star Trek label after an unprecedented bidding war erupted.

One listen to the band's music, which mixes bumping hip-hop production with the kind of classic rock that and twisted pop that wouldn't have sounded out of place on a mid 70's Bowie album, and you'll soon get why everyone has been getting themselves a bit excited about these two young gentlemen. With their degrees out the way and album on the shelves now it's time to see for yourself what all the fuss is about.

"When I first heard Chester French, I felt like I had stumbled upon two geniuses. It's been a long time since I've heard a project teeming with this sort of musicality and originality. You're going to watch history unfold with these guys. I feel it in my gut." - Pharrell Williams

About: Wolf Gang
They may have only made their live debut in May but things are already looking good for East End new boys Wolf Gang. The brainchild of multi-instrumentalist Max McElligott, Wolf Gang make some of the most timeless pop gems you'll hear in this or any other year. The early demos that have appeared online reveal harmony drenched psychedelic music that wraps you in its many layers yet still proudly wears its love for pop greats like Peter Gabriel and Talking Heads on its sleeve, their debut single is out this month and you can be sure that you will be hearing a lot more of the band in the future.

About: The Last Days Of Disco
East London disco cultists The Last Days of Disco, have been hailed as forerunners of the capitals nu/cosmic/disco scene. Their monthly nights held under an old furniture store Dalston have seen some of the biggest names on the scene drop in to take a spin and continues to chart the evolution of disco from Donna Summer to The DFA. Taking control of the Be’s decks this week the Last Days DJs will take you into a parallel universe where dirty dubbed out disco rules the roost, the streets are paved with the shit from Bianca Jagger's horse and the girl down the chip shop thinks she's Grace Jones.
