The BC Chamber of Commerce Energy and Environment Summit is being held Monday February 25 – Tuesday February 26, 2008 at the Delta Ocean Pointe Resort in Victoria.

February 25th’s networking dinner will feature Dr. Mark Jaccard, professor at Simon Fraser University and advisor to the BC Cabinet, outlining policies and recommendations in tackling climate change. Also addressing the Summit will be BC Minister of Energy Richard Neufeld, BC Hydro President & CEO Bob Elton and BC TC President & CEO Jane Peverett, followed by panel sessions on carbon management, environmental innovation and social licence.

The BC Chamber of Commerce Energy and Environment Summit is a unique opportunity to learn about BC’s energy future and environmental protection, particularly in light of yesterday’s Throne Speech which focused on the province’s climate action plans. With representatives from government, industry and business, attendees will get involved in in-depth discussions addressing the number one issue affecting British Columbians – the environment.

Tickets for the BC Chamber of Commerce Energy and Environment Summit are $499 each – to register and for more information, please visit www.seismicevents.ca
