Bay View: An American Idea November 6, 2012

Author Mary Jane Doerr will share a history of Bay View, a northern Michigan resort community originating as a 19th-century camp meeting site. Rich in turn-of-the-century architecture and history, Bay View flourishes as a summer community to this day. The author will show photographs and share stories about historic Bay View, including its connections to Hemingway, the Custer family, and The Joy of Cooking.
