The Bay Area Healthy Neighborhood Festival is an event that focuses on raising awareness of the need for organ donation and healthier lifestyles in minority communities.

There will be venues for children, teens, adults, and seniors consisting of health booths, physical activities likes run/walks, exercise breakouts, information booths, and a Health Screening Pavillion. Live musical entertainment is also scheduled.

It is a tragedy that so many wait for transplants that they will never receive because of financial considerations. It is an even greater tragedy that anyone needs a transplant when proper nutrition and exercise could help prevent such occurrences.
