Wed, January 20 in the East Bay; or Thur, January 21st on the Peninsula; 8:30am - 11:30am

BAE Workshop provides a series of eight weekly Sessions in a Bay Area location near you. Each Session consists of a presentation on a topic of key importance to obtaining funding, individualized feedback specific to your start-up, and a learn-by-doing assignment to create a document or outline of necessary parts of your business plan. The culmination of the Workshop will feature presentations by the participants to Venture Capitalists and Angel investors.

Each session begins at 8:30 AM and runs until 11:30. East Bay Sessions are held on Wednesdays and Peninsula Sessions on Thursdays. The next series begins January 20th, 2010 in the East Bay and January 21st on the Peninsula.

Who Should Apply
BAE Workshop is aimed at technology start-ups in areas that appeal to venture capitalists and angels. That includes areas such as enterprise software, SaaS, clean tech, computer game hardware and software, medical devices, electronics and similar markets. If your start-up is in such a field, BAE Workshop is for you.

The content of the Workshop is also applicable to non-technology start-ups. Every entrepreneur benefits from a marketing plan. Even a flower shop's chances of success are enhanced by a business plan. Any start-up that is seeking a loan from a bank benefits from a financial plan.

Content
Each three hour Session will start with a review and feedback on the prior week's work, followed by a presentation on a new topic and an Assignment on the new topic. Work will begin on the assignment during the Session, with coaching from the instructors. The instructors will provide individualized feedback on the participants' work, to ensure they are started on the right track. Completed assignments will be reviewed and discussed in the following week's meeting.
