BattleSFO is an intense afternoon of outdoor lasertag for people in the San Francisco Bay Area. Six Teams will battle against one other, playing 12 minute games of capture-the-flag in a 2 acre wooded area of Junipero Serra Park near SFO. We provide the latest in radio-based outdoor commercial lasertag equipment and radio headsets for each player.

This is lasertag at its finest. We’ll be playing with some of the best lasertag equipment available, running around in the open woods. The radio headsets help you know what’s going on, making the games much more thrilling. Between games we’ll be having a potluck BBQ picnic party, and watch the other teams play from above. It’s going to be a high-adrenaline afternoon of fierce competition and fun times. Spectators welcome

Where:

Junipero Serra park, overlooking SFO in San Bruno; we have reserved the Isis group picnic site on the summit of the Park. If you're taking public transit, carpooling will be available from the San Bruno Bart station.

The Game:

We will be playing Capture-the-flag using the some serious radio-based outdoor lasertag equipment rented from specopsliveplay.com in Oakdale CA. We'll be renting radio headsets for every player so you can scream for help from your teammates!

* No lasertag experience is necessary! Most players participating haven’t played.
* Capture-the-flag is a team based game that requires a well coordinated team strategy and solid communication to win.
* Teams will be selected and we’ll play with the same teams for the entire event. You can select your teammates on the participate page
* Wins and losses will be tracked and the results posted online.

The Party:

Between games we will enjoy a potluck BBQ picnic party. There are two grills (1 meat 1 vegetarian) and 10 tables at this picnic area. Since this is a potluck BBQ, please bring your signature dish! BYOB (Beer and Wine only), but anyone drinking must have a designated driver.

Cost:

* Player: $50 per player covers all lasertag and radio equipment rentals, park rental fees, and staffing- includes at least 4 12-minute games.
* Youth Games: $15 per youth
* Volunteer: There are openings for volunteers who will play for free in exchange for refereeing games and helping setup.
* Spectator: People are welcome attend the potluck picnic for free without playing, but please register so we know you’re coming. Registration will take place on a first-come first-served basis.
