BATTLE OF THE BANDS
Prove Your Skills… Rock The House With Your Musical Talent

Does your band have the skills to rock the house? If so, Macomb Community College Student Activities has a chance for your band to compete in the 3rd Annual Battle of the Bands at The Macomb Center for The Performing Arts on May 1, 2009 at 6:30pm. Battle of the Bands will feature six local bands from Michigan competing for bragging rights, free studio time, and prizes.

To participate in the competition please contact the Student Activities Office at 586-445-7446, [email protected], or stop by the nearest campus for your registration packet, to submit your demo tape/Cd, and retrieve eligibility and judging criteria by March 13, 2009.

This is also a charity event in which all of the ticket sales will go toward Charity Music, a foundation in Sterling Heights started by past Macomb Symphony Orchestra President, Roger Fachini. Charity Music donates recycled instruments at no charge to children and other individuals who wish to pursue their hidden musical talents.
