With the summer season upon us, EB is bringing the heat with a trio of guest DJs making their first appearance at BASSDROP! The night promises to traverse the sounds and sample the flavors that continue to push SF's dance music scene forward.

Based in San Francisco since 1994 Dov has been instrumental in the growth of dance culture in the Bay Area by producing multiple events, festivals, gatherings, importing and exporting music, working in music distribution, club manager / booker, working as a magazine website content developer, music reviewer, and serving as a label solicitor for major digital retailers in 1998 and an A & R rep and music buyer. He assisted in the development of multiple underground labels in the past 10 years and finally formed his own label Muti Music in January 2002 and build and managed music and media label, Cyberset since 2004.

Dov first production on vinyl surfaced in 2002 and has since had multiple remixes and more recently solo outings, he produces as ‘Dov’, ‘Big Dub Project’ and has a collaborative production project with an-ten-nae as “D’n A” and also one with ‘Walter’ as “6C”. He has headlined and featured alongside many luminaries of dance culture and has performed with: Freq Nasty, Andrew Weatherall, Tipper, Tayo, Fine Cut Bodies, Atomic Hooligan, 10 Sui, Adam Freeland, An-ten-nae, Lawgiverz, BLIM, Ed209, Modeselektor, Freestylers, Krafty Kuts and many more.

UltraViolet, a San Francisco native, is a longtime player to the SF Drum and Bass scene and is currently making waves in the city's growing dubstep scene. Her love of vinyl and dance music came early: at age 18 she started buying vinyl and by 19 she was being booked to play jungle at raves by such promoters as Feel Good and Ghostribe.

UltraViolet was a founding member of SLEEVELESS, a drum and bass and breakbeat collective, as well as a member of Future Breaks FM on KUSF 90.3 FM. She has been involved with throwing numerous weekly and monthly events in SF.

Currently, she is the front woman for REDLINE, a female DJ collective that spans from SF to LA to NY. Pushing the drum and bass, dubstep and electro sound, Ultraviolet stays busy throwing REDLINE's monthly, The Makeout Sessions and DJing with her crewmate Kozee as Tiempo Atractiva.

As a unique treat for the BASSDROP junkies, Ultraviolet is prepping to drop a special electro set that promises to level the dancefloor.

A relative newcomer to the scene, Sashwa has been busy holding things down in the North Bay, DJing with Dubsource Sound and putting in time with the Juke Joint, a weekly funk, breakbeat and reggae night in Sebastopol. A lover of all things bass heavy, expect a mix of dancehall, dub and breaks.
