Basket Making June 6, 2010

Here is a lovely opportunity to spend a relaxing weekend being creative making willow baskets with Jenny Pearce. (see website below).

Willow Basket Making 5th and 6th June, Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 12pm to 7pm. Cost is £120/hd to include tuition & materials, tools provided.

The basketmaking will be based on a variety of Celtic and English regional designs. The material we work with is mostly unstripped willow with its variety of textures and colours. On a weekend course you can expect to make two baskets, one possibly with a handle. Nobody is allowed to leave without a basket!

The course is suitable for both beginners and those with some experience. Your hosts Lizzy & Michael will provide lunch at no extra costs to you. Please bring wine or beer for the table if you wish.
