(Denver, CO) - Vintage Theatre opens Neil Simon’s “Barefoot in the Park” on Friday, January 9 and plays Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.; and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. through February 14, 2009. Tickets are $22 at the door, $17 in advance and available by calling 303-839-1361 or online at www.vintagetheatre.com. There will be an Industry Night on Tuesday, January 20 at 7:30 p.m. (ticket are $11 for this performance only). Vintage Theater will offer Valentine surprises for those attending Friday, February 13 - all tickets $22 (no advance discount) and Saturday, February 14 - all tickets $25 (no advance discount).

Meet the Bratters: newlyweds, very much in love with each other and their dream home. That is, until they discover their new “dream” home is a six-floor walk-up, has a leaky skylight, bad plumbing, and an eccentric neighbor who uses their window ledge to get home. The straight-laced Paul and free-spirited Corie clash over mothers, adventure, and walking “Barefoot in the Park.” Neil Simon’s classic romantic comedy ran for more than 1500 performances on Broadway.
Director Sarah Roshan chose Hannah Marie Hines for the role of Corie and Andy Lacerte as Paul. Anne Myers (Mrs. Banks), Albert Banker (Velasco), Luke Allan Terry (Harry Pepper) and Zach Cantor as the Delivery Man round out the cast.
