It's that time again: this year's BarCamp Hong Kong will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at HK Polytechnic University as we have outgrown all previous venues!

WHAT IS BARCAMP?

BarCamp is an 'unconference' at which you get to determine the agenda. We start the day with a short brainstorming session during which anyone can suggest a topic for one of the day's many sessions. Last year included open source, cloud computing, iPhone development, social media, GIS, creative commons and more. Sessions can be proposed by anyone in English, Cantonese or Putonghua.

Last year's event drew in more than 300 participants from all walks of the Internet in Hong Kong; budding entrepreneurs, web designers, cutting edge programmers, mobile experts, game developers & designers, academics, bloggers, social media specialists, investors and media owners. We expect as many as 500 this year. So make sure you sign up (on Facebook or on the Website) and, more importantly, make sure you show up early at 9:30 AM!
