Ballet Folklorico de Mexico with Dallas Symphony Orchestra
Ballet Folklórico de México was founded in 1952 by dancer and choreographer Amalia Hernandez. What started as weekly performances on Mexican television soon evolved into a company of upwards of 70 dancers, 40 original ballets, and over 5000 performances world-wide. Now permanently housed at the Palace of Fine Arts in Mexico City, Ballet Folklórico de México is truly a cultural ambassador both nationally and abroad.
