It's hard to resist dancing your way out after seeing the high-flying Bale Folclorico da Bahia, the only professional folk dance company in Brazil. Even the most conservative dance critics use terms like "electrifying, "explosive," and "hallucinogenic" to describe this showcase of Bahia's loveable music and dance. With dancers, a live band, and superb vocalists, the 38-member troupe performs the Afro-Caribbean folkloric dances of eastern Brazil.
