Back to Love Tour Starring Anthony Hamilton October 6, 2012

This fall, Grammy Award winning, multi-platinum selling and critically acclaimed entertainer Anthony Hamilton will headline the Back To Love Tour, that will play Greensboro’s War Memorial Auditorium on Saturday, October 6. Hamilton’s legions of fans will have the opportunity to see him perform his timeless brand of music, including the latest hits from his fourth studio album of the same name.

Cited by Billboard as one of the 10 best performances during this year’s Essence Music Festival, Hamilton will kick off his captivating tour on September 8th in Columbia, SC at Township Auditorium and will make stops in other major U.S. cities including Chicago, New York, Washington DC, and Los Angeles. Anthony will bring along special guest, Grammy winner Estelle, and R&B newcomer, Antoine Dunn.

Tickets for the October 6th performance in Greensboro will go on sale Friday, August 24th at 10:00 a.m.

Hamilton, a Charlotte, NC native who first began singing in church at the age of 10, has sold and collaborated on more than 20 million albums worldwide. Most recently, Back to Love was named one of the “Best of 2012…So Far” by iTunes. The latest single from the CD, the Babyface-produced “Pray for Me,” was the #1 most added single at urban adult radio and showcases Hamilton’s signature vocals and remarkable range. In addition, his duet with Jill Scott, “So In Love” from Scott’s Light of the Sun album, maintained the #1 spot on Billboard’s Urban Adult Contemporary chart for 18 weeks last year, tying a record for longest time spent at #1 on the Urban AC Charts.

Anthony Hamilton has been making waves in the music industry since 2002, when his contribution to the Nappy Roots’ song “Po’ Folks” garnered his first of 10 Grammy nominations.
