2-3pm: Bachata/Merengue Cornerstone (beginner level)

You'll learn basic movements and the Dominican dance movement concept. You'd learn basic drills and exercises to help you build a good foundation in these dances. Learn when to tap and when to bump. Learn timing. Learn some of the original merengue and bachata moves. This workshop is required for all beginners and even intermediates.

3-4pm: "The Truth About Connection" - Bachata/Merengue Progressive (intermediate)

Bachata and Merengue are intimate dances. Proper Connection is a must! THE HEAD-TO-TOE CONNECTION! You will learn the secret of leading and following. Learn to use the whole dance floor. Advance movements with body rolls, shoulder rolls and hip shakes. Learn Close Range motion with sexy moves. Learn creative advance and modern moves. When to pause during the music. When to apply certain moves during a dance and much more. This is as advance as it gets!

Who is Rodchata?

Rodney "Rodchata" Aquino is a popular and entertaining dance instructor in the United States. He is the founder of Salsagang.com and CEO of Rodchata Enterprises and La Luna Clubs.
