B-68 XC MTB Race July 18, 2008

Part of the Breckenridge 100 Races, the B-68 is a challenge for those not quite ready for the whole enchilada. This race is an offshoot of the Breckenridge 100 and features the second and third loops of its big brother. The course will delight competitors with a unique combination of approximately 68 miles of mountainous terrain gaining approximately 9,000 feet. Two distinct clover-leaf style loops reward solo and team competitors alike. Our course architect has linked together an amazing, interconnecting network of high alpine singletrack, backcountry trails, dirt roads, double track and bike paths that will take you far beyond the typical boundaries of endurance racing. From start to finish, you will be both pampered and pushed to your limit at the same time. For both Solo and Two Person Team Competitions, this incredible course will rekindle your pioneering spirit and remind you of what backcountry mountain biking is all about.
