San Francisco, California

All levels of Mandarin speakers are welcome to this special reception featuring a presentation on the Silk Road —the ancient trade route from China to Italy-- by photographer Ben Kong.

His nostalgia for the traditional China inspired his search to capture the simplicity of ancient custom and everyday routine on film. His award-winning photographs are displayed in museums, galleries, private and corporate collections.

Whether you are looking to keep the rust off your language skills or you simply want to enjoy a good Mandarin conversation, Ben Kong’s presentation will inspire you. Enjoy complementary wine and mingling with Mandarin speakers from throughout the Bay Area.
