Aurora: Alaska's Great Northern Lights September 1, 2010

In addition to rare Northern Lights, there are spectacular scenes of the Auroras from space, with Hale-Bopp comet, planets, numerous northern constellations and over Alaska's huge mountain ranges and scenery. The photographer whose extraordinary work appears in 'Aurora: Alaska's Great Northern Lights ' is Dave Parkhurst of Anchorage. Dave has been chasing images of the Aurora Borealis and other Alaskan sky phenomena since 1980, and his work is enjoyed worldwide.
