Auditions for Thriller at Lemon Bay Playhouse January 11, 2009

Lemon Bay Playhouse will conduct open auditions for Angel Street by Patrick Hamilton on Sunday, January 11, and Monday, January 12, at 7:00 PM at the Playhouse. There are roles for 3 women and 2 men. The play will run from March 4 through March 22 with performances Tuesdays through Sundays.

The play, also known as Gaslight, was written by the English playwright Patrick Hamilton and here directed by Ralph Barnes. It is the story of the Manningham’s life in the 19th century. The husband, sinister and handsome, is slowly torturing his gentle, lovely wife into insanity under the guise of kindness.
