Screamo band Attack Attack! was formed in Columbus, Ohio in 2007 by Austin Carlile, Ricky Lortz, Andrew Whiting, Nick White, and Andrew Wetzel. Guitarist, vocalist and synth-player Lortz left the band and was replaced by Johnny Franck on guitar and vocals and Caleb Shomo on synth before the band recorded EP If Guns Are Outlawed, Can We Use Swords? in 2008. Signed by Rise Records, Attack Attack! released their debut LP, Someday Came Suddenly, in late 2008. The band kicked out lead screamer Carlile and replaced him with Nick Barham, former member of For All We Know, while on tour with Maylene and the Sons of Disaster. Attack Attack! has also toured with bands like Escape the Fate, as well as performing at this year’s Warped Tour.
