More than 200 artists from across the country come together at the Dogwood Festival each year to display and sell their exquisite sculptures, paintings, pottery, photographs and more. In addition to rows upon rows of artist booths, the festival also has live music stages throughout Piedmont Park featuring a vast array of musicians from around the country. A variety of sounds including bluegrass, jazz, soul, rock and country fill the springtime air and add to the beautiful and culturally diverse ambiance that the festival has become known for. Amid the blooming Dogwood trees, there are several festival food vendors offering everything from funnel cakes and gyros to crab cakes and onion rings. The Atlanta Dogwood Festival offers a canine competition and a community corner where locals and visitors alike can explore volunteer opportunities with several nonprofit organizations.
