Host: The Heritage Foundation. The global financial crisis will undoubtedly have effects on Europe’s political architecture. It may encourage some non-Euro members to join the currency; it may create pressures for the creation of an EU Treasury; or it may lead to a recession that will place significant strains on the Euro bloc. Our panelists will lead an open discussion to inform the public and policy-makers about the possibilities.
