It's hard to imagine how we would exist without spatial awareness,
yet that is exactly what many patients with stroke and other forms of
brain damage must do. The study of such patients has revealed new
insights into the role that the perception of space plays in
producing accurate descriptions of the world. Lynn Robertson, author
of "Space, Objects, Brains and Minds" will discuss her work on
spatial functions of the brain and their role in perceptual awareness.
