The newly-formed Asian Health Care Leaders Association is proud to debut its first-ever conference in Chicago on April 23-24, 2009, at the Hyatt Regency. For those new to the organization, AHCLA is a membership and leadership organization devoted to increasing the representation and professional development of Asian-Americans in healthcare executive management, policy, and administration. AHCLA membership is free and focuses on networking.
This inaugural meeting is a unique and exciting opportunity to connect with healthcare executives and key members of the national Asian healthcare community. One of the highlights of the conference features Linda Yu, one of Chicago's most respected and well-known broadcasters, who will moderate the Gala Event honoring Fawn Lopez, Publisher of Modern Healthcare Magazine. In addition, the conference will include tracks specifically designed for the spectrum of healthcare leaders, from students to senior level executives. The conference wraps up with a one-of-a-kind Cultural Immersion Event in Chicagos Chinatown.and mentoring, which are essential components especially in today's challenging times.
