She might be the younger sister of superstar Jessica Simpson, but Ashlee Simpson has certainly set her own career in motion. Appearances on 'Malcolm in the Middle' and 'The View' lead to a regular role on the WB's '7th Heaven.' From there, she forged her music career with 'Just Let Me Cry,' which landed on the 'Freaky Friday' soundtrack in 2003. Geffen Records released her debut album, 'Autobiography,' in 2004 as MTV was debuting Ashlee's own reality show. A slight "vocal mishap" on 'Saturday Night Live' in December 2004 may have been a bump in the road, but Simpson managed to get past that as she hits the road to support her sophomore effort, 'I Am Me.'
