AscenDance Seminar and Auditions: Climbers from America's Got Talent May 12, 2012

May 12: 12pm to 2pm, May 13: 12pm to 4 pm

AscenDance Project integrates the technical strength of climbing with expressive movement and music to create a new kind of aerial performance on a vertical stage. A climber's body uses strength and balance efficiently to overcome gravity with elegance and ease. The vertical stage provides an unbelievably fascinating perspective to the audience. In 2010, AscenDance Project made it to the semi-finals of America's Got Talent. This was a turning point for the company. AscenDance Project has grown, traveled and performed across the country since then. Now the group has moved to Boulder, Colorado and is teaching classes as well as searching for new performers to join the troupe.

DANCE-CLIMB FUSION CLASS: Saturday May 12, 12-2 PM
Climb to music, remember sequences and learn to overcome gravity with style, tricks and fluidity. No experience necessary. Preregistration required! Limited space only.
Fee: $35/class

ASCENDANCE AUDITIONS: Sunday May 13, 12-4 PM
