Michael Mersereau's current work samples still images from media news, cinema, video, and closed circuit TV. Whether print, collage, or Plexiglas assemblage, each piece references fragmentary moments in current news media, horror, documentary, film noir, and international cinema. All are reconstructed, redrawn, and duplicated by machine and by hand into abstracted and altered forms.

Michael Mersereau was born April 1st, 1977 and currently lives and works in the SF Bay Area. He graduated with a BFA from the California College of the Arts and exhibits courtesy of Alphonse Berber Gallery.
