Artist's Talk: Future Prologues

Join the Totally Wreck Institute to discuss the Future Prologues Exhibition at the Creative Research Laboratory: An all inclusive sensory experience featuring the work of the eight members of Totally Wreck Institute examining the nature of reality and time curated by CRL Director Jade Walker and Risa Puleo, Assistant Curator of American and Contemporary Art at the Blanton Museum.

Background: Future Prologues features the multimedia work of eight young Austin artists and UT alumni who collectively call themselves Totally Wreck Institute. Concerned with perceptions of reality and time, the artists aim to create a multimedia odyssey through culture, mythology, and technology.

Featured artists are Ben Aqua, Juan Cisneros, Kyle Dixon, Mark P. Hensel a.k.a. Mizzzard, Mike Ruiz, David Salinas, Malcolm Elijah Welbourne, and Lanneau White.
