The first ever Artisan Cheese Dinner will be held at Restaurant Alba in Malvern on Sunday, November 7th at 5 p.m.

Guests will enjoy six-courses that showcase a variety of cheeses made from all types of milk in small batches by hand on Chester County farms. Dairy farmers will be on hand to discuss their hand crafted process and the cheeses available for tasting. The dinner costs $75 with wine available for purchase separately. For an extra special experience, Sean is offering a wine paring option with the meal for $100. Seating is limited.

The local farms that will be featured include Birchrun Hills Farm, Amazing Acres Goat Dairy, and Highland Farm. Guests will taste Fat Cat, an earthy, tangy cheese with a grassy finish that can only be described as sassy with a little funk; Birchrun Blue, a creamy, buttery, bright blue cheese; and a fresh-aged chèvre, nutty with a crumbly center that dissolves on the tongue.

Weinberg takes the concept of farm-to-table to new heights by designing each daily menu from locally grown, seasonal foods that are farmed fresh within minutes of the restaurant’s location, a concept he adapted while living and working in the Italian countryside. The menu is steeped in Italian tradition, focused on fresh flavors and rustic simplicity.
