Art Quilts at the Shemer May 12, 2009

Members of Studio Art Quilt Associates, Arizona Chapter presents an exhibition of fiber & mixed media art quilts exploring various art mediums which may include painting, printmaking, photography, sewing, embroidery, assemblage and sculpture while retaining a clear relationship to the folk art quilt from which it descends. Studio Art Quilt Associates, founded in 1989 is an international non-profit organization with over 1700 members world-wide. The organization mission is to promote the art quilt thru education, exhibitions, professional development and documentation.
The exhibition opens with a reception from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
