Art opening: Legends and Altered Visions January 11, 2007

In the Main Gallery, "Legends and Altered Visions" features paintings by Carlos Loarca and will include works from three series: recent figurative works, recent abstract works, and paintings referring to the spirit dog, an image which the artist has used for many years. The images are in brilliant color, separated into dark and light works, and offer a contemporary look at an artist who has been painting for over forty years.
