Optimizing your child's development requires more than simply math, science, and reading skills.

Join us at Marla Baggetta Studio Art Intensive Day Camps integrating art with science, numbers, words, and most importantly - mindful awareness and compassion.
Understanding how to think before every decision - whether its deciding how to mix paint to create illusion of light, choosing harmonious electromagnetic waves to positively affect their lives, or simply acquiring non-critical ways to express an opinion - provides the tools to become a delightful teenager and adaptable creative leader.

Retreat
Based on Marla's well-known adult Loosen Up! Intensive workshops, Art Intensive Day Camps are a haven for relaxation and child-led foundational skill-building. The fundamentals of design, color, drawing, and art history interweave a day with focused movement and periods of rest.

Scholarships/Grants
Available to young artists demonstrating exceptional ability and a strong desire to pursue visual arts. Contact us for submission guidelines.

Camp Coordinators
Award winning painter and nationally sought after workshop instructor, Marla Baggetta is adept at helping individuals develop their unique style. Her approach reflects both the formal art education she received at Art Center College of Design and the years of experience that can only be gained from behind the easel. "It's a great honor to work with emerging artists to pass on some of the knowledge I've gained from my many great teachers and my own discoveries as a painter."

Studio and gallery manager, Jo Hermans graduated George Fox University in 2006 with a BA in Studio Art and minor in psychology. When she is not overseeing Marla Baggetta Studio, she spends her time sculpting, painting, hiking, and raising two energetic bouncy little humans.
