Over 40 local artists have donated artwork to a one-day exhibition and auction to raise money for the relief effort in Haiti.

They include David Mackintosh, Leo Fitzmaurice and Andrew Bracey - artists who currently have major exhibitions at the Cornerhouse, Castlefield Gallery and Manchester Art Gallery.

The exhibition and silent bidding will take place between 12.00pm and 5.00pm, with a live auction taking place between 6.00pm and 9.00pm.

From Monday, 22 March the exhibits can be viewed at www.haaa.salford.ac.uk and email bids can be made before the official event.
