"Arms Around Austin" Demonstration May 16, 2007

Thousands of Austinites responded to the call for Arms Around Northcross, to show support for a better vision for Northcross Mall. Now we're calling on our neighbors and fellow citizens once more. Wal-Mart's letter was an attempt to scare us into submission, and a slap in the face to our neighborhoods and to the City of Austin.

Join us at City Hall this Thursday at noon for Arms Around Austin. We will link arms and encircle City Hall at 12:10 for ten minutes. Let's show Wal-Mart that Austin will not be bullied!
