Area V Spring Handbell Concert March 14, 2009

Five hundred handbell ringers will be coming from five states to ring in a mass choir on Saturday afternoon after spending a day and a half preparing to become one choir. Handbell choirs from Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Ohio have been practicing the music in their home choirs and it will take a special director to bring them all together. Our special director will be David Davidson. One piece they have been working on is an arrangement of Amazing Grace that was arranged by a local man, Dean Wagner. The free concert is appropriate for all age groups and will last about one hour.
