This holiday season local radio station Area 107.9 will host their annual holiday concert event at the Hard Rock’s Joint. Co-headlining the show will be British indie rock band, Bloc Party and rock group Franz Ferdinand. Bloc Party is best known for its hit singles “Mercury” and “She’s Hearing Voices” from their latest and third album, Intimacy. Franz Ferdinand’s hit single “Take me Out,” garnered them international recognition and an MTV Video Music award for their video of the single. Opening the show will be English pop sensation, The Ting Tings and LA based rock band, Carolina Liar.
