Jews as a Nation and a Community of Faith.

No other community in the world today is both a people and a community of faith. How does this affect how Jews describe and define themselves to themselves and to others? Are the descriptions different in the Diaspora and Israel? If so, what difficulties do the differences create in the new realities of the 21st century? Prof. Michael Walzer, one of Americas leading political thinkers, will offer new insights on these age old questions.
Michael Walzer is a Professor of Social Science at the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton, New Jersey and Co-editor of The Jewish Political Tradition.
