It's been a few years since our last Arduino workshop. But more and more people discover this little miracle board, and they don't know exactly how to use it. That's where we come in!

What?
In this workshop you start from scratch. What is an Arduino, how does it work, how do I program it and how can I integrate it in my work and projects? The day starts with a general introduction. Then we'll look at the hardware aspects of the Arduino, followed by a crash course of programming.

For who?
Artists, art students, computer scientists, hardware hackers, product developers, nerds, dancers - everyone is welcome. However, note that some technical affinity is handy. Some experience in programming and electronics will come in handy specifically in soldering and java, but is not strictly necessary.

Trainer
Ubi de Feo, interaction designer and Arduino expert.

What to bring?
You'll have to bring your own laptop to do your coding. We advise you to download the Arduino software and have a good look at it. Perhaps you can even start with practicing a bit at home. All you need to know is on the website arduino.cc. If there is a specific sensor or actuator you would like to use during the workshop, we advise you to bring it yourself.

Information and registration
The workshop is from 10.00 - 17.00. Please register by clicking the 'count me in' button on the webpage.
We will keep an eye on your registration and notify you if we have more details (about the price of the workshop, how you should pay and if we include an Arduino kit in the workshop price for those who don't have one yet).
