APOSTASY: 360 DEGREE is the story of 5 non-secular church reared young adults whom are endowed with exceptional singing talents vowed at heart to sing only for the Lord. In their prowess and acclaim commercial music corporations pursue them with the lure of big dollar figures whose intentions in gospel is not that of saving souls but making money. The youth bend to this temptation and begin compromising their wares and loosing their souls.

It is an experience about the intangible juxtaposing difference between positive and negative influences in our lives, e.g. “the ying and yang,” “the good, the bad, and the ugly,” “the kind vs. the nefarious,” and “love and hate.” It is about personal choice and our human make of these influences. How we apply them effectively in the world we live in. Author likes to regard, “APOSTASY: 360 DEGREES” as a karmic drama with music: “What goes around…” “You reap…” “It all comes back to you,” ect. “APOSTASY: 360 DEGREES,” is the working unfoldment of forgiveness and the power of love that overcomes all that binds us to our encroaching ills of sin and evil… Author

APOSTASY: 360 Degrees will be directed by Noble Lee Lester (a co-writer of the play) who has directed previous productions of BLACK NATIVITY and MISS EVERS ‘BOYS for Stage Aurora Theatrical Company. Stage Aurora was founded by Executive Director Darryl Reuben Hall and has produced such classics as A RAISIN IN THE SUN, CROWNS, DREAMGIRLS, Darryl Reuben Hall’s FRAT HOUSE, and Darryl Reuben Hall’s REALITY CHECK.
