GOLDA SUPANOVA sings like a woman transported. Defiant, otherworldly, urban, dark & lovely music for the unorthodox soul, Nova tears apart words like "rock," "soul," "electronica," "pop" to free the horizon. She proudly performed as APAture 2003?s Music Featured Artist.

ODESSA CHEN'S music has been described as delicate, wintry, intelligent, haunting and comforting. Her debut album, One Room Palace, explores themes of love, longing, beauty and death with accomplished lyrics and a fingerpicking guitar style.

BERNIE ROSQUITES is an actress, stand-up comedienne, writer, and growing seed of Bindlestiff Theater and Bindlestiff Pinay Collective.

KEARNY STREET WORKSHOP is a 32-year-old nonprofit arts organization whose mission is to produce and present art that enriches and empowers Asian Pacific American Communities. Our vision is to achieve a more just society by connecting Asian Pacific American artists with community members to give voice to our cultural, historical and contemporary issues.

KSW's APATURE is the nation's largest and loudest multidisciplinary arts festival presenting the work of emerging APA artists, ages 18-35, living and/or working in the SF Bay Area. 2004 marks the 6th year KSW has produced APAture.

Thanks to our 2004 sponsors Arizmendi Bakery Cooperative (SF), Blowfish Sushi, Hitachi, Lagunitas Brewing Co., Poketo, Rainbow Grocery, Sanrio, Super7 and Trader Joe's; Hyphen Magazine and manja.org (media)

APAture is made possible through support from the Asian Pacific Fund, California Arts Council, Zellerbach Family Fund, Grants for the Arts/Hotel Tax Fund, and individual donors
